New release on Praxis Records will be out soon!
I’m happy to announce a new release on Praxis Records. It will be a mini LP with the title “Skin Craft” and will consist two tracks by myself and Alex Buess. Side A will be RIND and side B the composition NOL for percussion trio by Alex Buess.
RIND was a project by Daniel Buess, Daniel Stalder and Peter Conradin Zumthor which was realized in 2010. It was a piece, created with self built instruments: 3 giant cow-skin-framedrums, 1 horseskin containerdrumf, metalplates and electronics. It was recorded live at Bar du Nord in Basel. For this release, a 12′ excerpt got rearranged by CORTEX (Daniel Buess/Alex Buess). We added some more drums (accoustic and electronic sounds), plus synths and filters.
NOL is a piece for percussion trio by Alex Buess. It consists three electric basses and amps plus nine large gongs. It was played by Daniel Buess, Daniel Stalder and Matthias Würsch, recorded live in 2003.
